Abductors of Kaduna college students demand N500M


The Abductors of the students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Kaduna State have demanded a N500 million ransom. 

Recall that, A yet to be known number of students have been reportedly kidnapped by armed gunmen from a school in the Federal College of Forestry Mechanism in Mando area of Kaduna State. 

The incident happened on 11 Mar 2021 Thursday night and targeted only the female students of the said school read here.

However, troops of 1 Division, Kaduna, on Friday rescued 40 female students, 130 males and eight staff of the college. 

The state government later issued a statement on Friday night and confirmed that 23 girls and 16 boys were still missing in the college. 

But according to videos released by the gunmen yesterday, the students are half naked, made to sit on bare floor and whipped by some of the AK 47 bearing bandits. 

The ladies have only their wrappers tied across their chests while the men have only boxers or trousers on. 

The students were also seen begging the state government and security agents to come to their rescue.
