State Governors to take Coronavirus vaccine on March 10

The state Governors in Nigeria are expected to publicly take the Coronavirus vaccine on March 10.

This was Agreed at an emergency meeting which was attended by secretary to the government of the federation Boss Mustapha (SGF); health minister, Osagie Ehanire and Chikwe Ihekweazu, director-general of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Talked about the distribution of the vaccine, the chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum and Governor of Ekiti state, Kayode Fayemi conveyed the decision in a statement released on Thursday March 4. 

Fayemi who gave an assurance of the vaccine being safe, urged Nigerians to register on the National Primary Health Care Development Agency website, for the vaccine. 

It is also expected that frontline workers will receive their vaccination alongside the president and vice-president on Saturday March 6.
