Suspected Herdsmen Kidnap Abia State University Students on their way hom ( video)

Some gunmen who are suspected to be Fulani herdsmen kidnapped students of Abia State University, Uturu, Abia state. 

 

The suspects also shot and killed a student of Marist Comprehensive Academy.

 

The suspects also robbed motorists and passengers en route to Port Harcourt, Rivers State from Enugu and from Okigwe town to Enugu respectively. 

 

Three other students were injured and two are receiving treatment.

 

The suspected Fulani had, on June 10, 2020, kidnapped scores of travelers in the same area. 

 

Police spokesperson Micheal Abattam, who confirmed the incident, said it was a robbery attack and not a kidnapping operation. They are receiving treatment and they are responding to the treatment.
