IPOB Drags US Professor To Court Over Malicious Publication

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have sued a professor at Batimore University, United States of America, Ivan Sascha Kasheen, over alleged false publication against it.

The group alleged that Kasheen had published a malicious article against it and its leader, persuading the US government to enlist it as a terrorist organisation.

In a statement from its Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, IPOB also alleged that the university student was paid to write the article that was published by the Washington Times.

It further revealed that its group of lawyers led by Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor would address a world press conference in Abuja on Wednesday, 20th October, 2021.

The statement reads in part: "The global movement and family of Indigenous People of Biafra wishes to announce to the general public that our legal luminaries in the US led by Dr Bruce Fein IPOB attorney in USA has taken the professor of Batimore University, Ivan Sascha Kasheen in USA to court for writing falsehood and junk against IPOB.

"Dr. Ivan was paid to write false and malicious articles against IPOB and its leader, which were published by the Washington Times, invariably requesting that the US State Department designate IPOB as a terrorist organization.

"The law of America will catch up with him for telling lies against a peaceful movement.

"Our legal team in America led by Bruce Fein has instituted a case against him in a competent US court.

"This paid agent will testify before the court why he accused IPOB wrongly and who paid him to do the hatchet job."
