Obi Cubana wins 2021 Man of the Year award

Obi Cubana, from Anambra's Idemili-South Local Government Area, has been named Man of the Year for 2021. 

Nigerians at home and abroad voted for Cubana via online platforms, according to the Nigerian News Agency. 

He defeated Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, UBA Group Chairman Tony Elumelu, and BUA Group Chairman and Founder Abdul Rabiu.

The African Union and the African Film Institute have both endorsed the award, which is organized by IgbereTV. 

It recognizes and honors Nigerian leaders in both the public and private sectors for their outstanding contributions.

The award presentation for the 2021 edition is set for November 2 in Abuja.

Makinde, Elumelu, and Rabiu received 1,015,224, 848,652, and 819,562 votes, respectively, while the Cubana Group boss received 2,667,845 votes.
