Whereabouts of Supreme Court Justice, Mary Peter unknown after invasion of her residence by security operatives

On Friday, anxiety and confusion surrounded the fate and whereabouts of Supreme Court Justice Mary Ekaego Peter Odili, after security operatives allegedly laid siege to her Abuja family residence.

At around 5 p.m. on Friday, October 29, Justice Odili's family home on lmo Rivers Street in Maitama was reportedly besieged by fully armed plain-clothed security men for unknown reasons.

Security operatives guarding the house, on the other hand, were said to have resisted the takeover without a court order or instructions from above.

The unidentified security operatives were said to have stayed put during the drama, waiting for orders from above to order the resident guards to surrender so they could take over the house.
