Manchester United on Sunday sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjær after 3 years of being in charge as head coach, read here

The Ole sack came after a dramatic 4-1 defeat to Watford on Saturday evening.

The United legend, while speaking of his days at Chester, said it's an honour to work for Manchester United.

"I’m going to leave by the front door, because I think everyone knows I’ve given everything for this club. 

"This club means everything to me and together we’re a good match, but unfortunately I couldn’t get the results we needed - it’s time for me to step aside"

"Michael Carrick will be in charge against Villarreal." I have the utmost regard for Michael, and I adore Michael.

"I'm getting choked up now because he's the best." They're going to be OK. I'll keep an eye on them and offer my support."
