The Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) has lost yet another student to death's cold hands.
According to the report, the late Maryann Uzoamaka, also identified as 'Ada', was involved in a bike accident this morning (Thursday 20-01-2022) at Futo Junction Obinze while returning to school.
Late Uzoamaka, who is a 200-level student from the Department of Statistics (STA), allegedly died of internal bleeding due to a lack of immediate medical attention.
"Her name is Mary Ann. She is my course mate. She is a very intelligent, social, and loveable lady.
According to a Facebook user, Amb Odinakachukwu Henry, who happens to be the deceased coursemate, identified her as a social and loveable lady.
"She was knock down by a trailer this morning (Thursday 20-01-2022) while on bike and died few minutes later after no immediate aid was administered.
"She loves to carry everyone along. Though I didn't interact much with her but the little I had proved how wonderful she is."
