Daniel Ikubor, also known as Rema, a Mavin singer and songwriter, has been accepted into the University of Lagos to study Creative Arts.
In a tweet on Friday, the musician stated that his mother wanted him to acquire a degree, which fueled his choice to go to school.
Singer Rema in a series of tweet said, "What if I told y’all I got an admission into Unilag? Lol, Mom said I still need to get a degree. oh well, see you guys in class!"
Rema, stated that he will aim to release his upcoming album before starting school.
He does not want his UNILAG fans to berate him if he fails to do so, according to him.
"I will try to drop the album before I enter school. So they’ll not beat me in UNILAG. Plus, I’m in the Creative Art Department."
