Kanye West refuse to sign a document declaring Kim Kardashian to be "legally single"

Kanye West has refused to sign a document declaring Kim Kardashian to be "legally single." 

Kim Kardashian, 41, wants a judge to declare her single in December 2021, during her protracted divorce with rapper Kanye West, 44. 

Kim Kardashian reportedly sought for her maiden name to be reinstated in the legal paperwork, as well as for the court to isolate matters of child custody and property from her married status. 

Kim submitted documents in court about two months ago, but her request has yet to be granted, and Kanye West is said to be at the root of the delay. 

According to reports, the rapper is refusing to sign the dotted line, which would allow Kim to continue forward with her request.

"Kim is still trying to get the'married' status dissolved to'single' before they finalize the divorce, but Ye has yet to sign," an insider told E! News on Monday, Feb. 7. 

"Moving this divorce along isn't something he's acting on rapidly, despite Kim's efforts," they stated.
