BREAKING: Protesters storm Jonathan’s private office, ask him to declare for presidential race

Protesters attacked Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan's Abuja private office on Friday, pushing him to declare for the 2023 presidential election as Nigeria approaches its upcoming elections.

Jonathan had also been urged to run by several groups. The Nigerian Young Professionals in Diaspora, or NYPD, handed Jonathan a week to declare for the 2023 presidential election or face legal action.

The Young Professionals in Diaspora group is made up of Nigerians from all around the country who are based in other countries.

Arc. Oladipo Akande, the group's convener, stated in a press release sent to journalists via email from Los Angeles, United States of America, that the former helmsman needed to throw his hat into the ring as soon as possible.
