Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has decried how Nigeria appears to be on the verge of bankruptcy.
He said this while serving at the Church's monthly Thanksgiving Service on Sunday.
"More than 90% of our revenue, of the money we get from the remnant of the oil that was stolen, we are using it to pay the interest on the money we have already borrowed," he stated after citing five of Nigeria's issues.
"And we are borrowing more. According to a friend of mine, we are moving steadily to bankruptcy. A whole nation, my beloved Nigeria is moving steadily towards bankruptcy."
