On Friday, Cornel Osigwe, Innoson's head of corporate communications, stated, "We are probably launching this year and we are going to manufacture something that is eco-friendly."

"We're going to make something that the typical Nigerian can buy for a lot less money."

"We made approximately 100 prototypes and distributed them to various people to test and provide comments on," he said.

"At the moment, we don't have any in stock for sale; the ones we make are only samples for data collection."

"We're putting it to the test and receiving a variety of responses. One of the suggestions we received was to make the engine biofuel, which we will implement. As a result, it will be able to run on both gas and petrol," he noted.

He stated that the company will release the final product later this year after getting feedback from those who have tested it.

"We merely created a few samples," he explained, "and the major equipment we'll be using to mass-produce is still on the way."
