The crusade was supposed to take place in Aba from May 24 to May 29, 2022, but the Indigenous People of Biafra persuaded the 80-year-old cleric to cancel it.

it was recalled IPOB's Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful, issued a statement on Thursday urging Kumuyi to reconsider the mission due to insecurity in the South-East.
The IPOB's spokesman reiterated the appeal on Saturday, saying Kumuyi and the Christian Association of Nigeria should not disregard the group's advise, claiming political thugs were planning attacks on crusade attendants. Read here
