[Wahala] Ex-VP Namadi Sambo’s son allegedly asks delegates to return his money after he lost PDP ticket

Adam Namadi, the son of former Vice-President Namadi Sambo, allegedly asked delegates to return the N2 million apiece he paid them immediately before the party primaries in Kaduna North Federal Constituency, which he lost on Sunday, May 22.

According to DailyTrust, Namadi received the least votes of the three candidates despite promising to add N1.5 million to the sum provided to each delegate.

Millions of naira were collected by the delegates from aspirants who appeared to be in a rush to outspend one another.

In the end, incumbent representative of the constituency Samaila Suleiman defeated Namadi and Shehu Usman ABG to win the constituency.

Suleiman, who recently switched from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), received 22 votes to Shehu Usman ABG's 14.

According to Reports, delegates said that Suleiman distributed between N3.5 million and N4 million to each delegate, while ABG distributed N2.5 million in cash and Namadi distributed N2 million.
