Organ Harvesting: Ekweremadu Appears Before UK Court

Ike Ekweremadu, a former deputy senate president, made an appearance at the Uxbridge Magistrate Court in the UK on Thursday about allegations of organ harvesting and modern slavery.

Ekweremadu was in the dock, and according to Channels Television, he spoke twice, reiterating his name and birthdate.

It was also said that while his wife Beatrice wasn't present in court, his two adult sons were.

He will now appear before a judge at Westminster Magistrate court after the matter was postponed until July 7.

In the meanwhile, the prosecution maintains that a child and modern slavery are at issue.

Ekweremadu and his wife were detained and charged by the Metropolitan Police last week for allegedly transporting a kid to the UK for organ harvesting.
