A woman in Ibadan stunned the court with her account of the painful sexual experience she goes through in her marriage.
Omolara Acchoyame, a 43-year-old lady, recently dazed her husband in front of the Igando Customary Court in Lagos State by alleging that having sex with him was torturous.
Omolara said Solomon Acchoyame behaved strangely when making love to her and had initiated divorce proceedings against him.
She claimed that after waiting for her to fall asleep, he simply opened her clothes and had sex with her without waking her up.
She added that she had never liked this. Omolara went on to say that she detested having sex with her husband because he utilized aboniki balm, mentholatum, and dusting powder as his preferred lubricants during their interactions.
In her testimony, the woman stated that she had been married to her husband for 14 years and had three children with him. She also stated that their main argument stemmed from the fact that she didn't know what he did for a living.
"Before I left home, we quarreled a lot since I didn't know what he did for a career. He visits his village three times a week, for reasons I don't understand—his parents have passed away, and whenever he returns, he claims he has no money.
"I would ask my sister to lend him money for his upcoming trip. He doesn't get home until after midnight, but when he does, he curses me and my family.
"My husband makes no money at all. Please end the marriage so I may start again in my life," she pleaded.
The 44-year-old husband defended himself by saying that things were going well for him when he met his wife at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, Oyo State, and that he paid for her education in university with his own money.
