'I Lost 2 billion In One Day And I'm Still Alive', says Kanye West as he Speaks about brands cutting ties with him because of his anti-Semitic comments

In jest, Kanye West has discussed losing his billionaire status.

A number of firms broke relations with the rapper as a result of his anti-Semitic rants, costing him 2 billion dollars.

The rapper wrote on Instagram that he lost $2 billion in one day but that he was still alive.

And he said: "I am not defined by the money. I identify with the folks."

Kanye previously posted a report suggesting that he and his Yeezy clothing brand had broken up their relationship.

"Ye has reportedly cut ties with Kanye West," the headline reads.

In the caption, Kanye wrote: "Had to cut ties bro."

His fan Candace Owens responded to his comment with a slew of laughing emojis.

This follows the rapper's association with several brands being severed.

Balenciaga, MRC (the entertainment company shelved an almost completed Ye documentary), his talent agency CAA, Adidas, Jaylen Brown and Aaron Donald, Foot Locker, The RealReal, T.J. Maxx, and Madame Tussauds are among the companies that have so far severed their relations with Kanye.

Additionally, Kanye's comments caused his school, Donda Academy, to be disqualified from a high school competition.
