[Music] Rihanna - 'Lift Me Up' (From Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - Music From and Inspired By)

Rihanna has returned to the music world with the release of "Lift Me Up" for the most recent "Black Panther" film, marking her first solo release in around six years.

RiRi harmonizes over a sluggish tempo before singing "Lift me up, hold me down, keep me close, safe and sound" in the chorus, despite the fact that it is not a dance track as many fans had anticipated.

The song will appear in the next "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" Marvel sequel. Chadwick Boseman, the late star of "Black Panther," was honored by having it written in his honor.

The song was co-written by Rihanna, Afrobeats superstar Tems, Oscar- and Grammy Award-winning producer Ludwig Göransson, and "BP" director Ryan Coogler.
