Chief Ebere Udeagu, the Deputy Governor of Imo State between 1999 and 2007, under Chief Achike Udenwa, has died on Monday at the age of 79.
According to family sources, the Okigwe Zone political leader became ill on Sunday, and was later rushed to a hospital in Owerri, where he eventually died in the early hours of Monday.
