UPDATED: Unknown attacker killed Ataga while I was out — Chidinma

A Lagos High Court sitting at Tafawa Balewa Square on Tuesday resumed watching the recorded confessional video of Chidinma Ojukwu, the alleged murder suspect of the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, late Usifo Ataga, where she denied killing the deceased.

In the video that was played in front of Justice Yetunde Adesanya, Ojukwu claimed that she was frightened and left the scene right away after seeing Ataga on the ground on Tuesday. She claimed that she didn't know who killed the victim.

"I don't know who came in, she said. I simply packed my belongings and departed out of fear," she said.

Contrary to her admission made previously, when the video of Ataga's lifeless body was shown at the final hearings on October 11, 2022, she claimed to have killed the victim on her own, see here.

In the video, she claims, "Nobody helped me; I did it alone." See here

Chidinma responded that she didn't deny knowing Ataga but that she didn't kill him when asked why she denied knowing the deceased while being questioned on the video.

"I didn't say I didn't know him; I just stated I couldn't kill someone and I didn't kill him," she said.
