In Anambra state, a woman was detained after beating her maid to death and dumping the body in a bush.

After being detained by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Anambra Command, the woman admitted to the crime.

She led NAPTIP representatives to the jungle where she interred the infant.

"She began convulsing after I beat her, so I took her to Kings (hospital). She passed away on the way there, so I dropped her body here," she said in Igbo

In the video, the child's body was already starting to disintegrate. The woman will face legal charges.
