Davido nanny and cook may face charges for negligence over Ifeanyi death

The two housekeepers who were detained in relation to the deaths of Ifeanyi Adeleke, 3, and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland, could be prosecuted with negligence. Davido, a well-known artist, had a son named Ifeanyi. Nigeria Information Guide

Ifeanyi's well-being was apparently directly overseen by the cook and the nanny, according to PUNCH, which on Wednesday confirmed this information with a dependable source.

"The cook and the nanny were the ones directly with the child, so, they are guilty of negligence until the autopsy is conducted," according to the source.

"During investigation, we have suspects, and depending on the case, the suspects may or may not be released. 

"So far, the family has not objected to the autopsy, but how fast it will be done depends on the hospital. But the next move is to review the CCTV at the house."

While confirming the detention of the cook and nanny, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, declined to provide any other information regarding the current investigation.
