Lady who jumped into lagoon, our staff DSS Report

Adetutu Adedokun, a worker for the Department of State Services, has been identified as the woman who leapt into the Lagos Lagoon on Thursday.

Sources at the workplace told Channels Television that Adedokun was reportedly a trainer in unarmed combat. Additionally, it was said that she just got engaged.

Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, the permanent secretary of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, said in a statement on Thursday that the taxi driver said she was having a violent argument with her fiancé when she got out of the car and dove into the lagoon.

In a new confirmation on Friday, Oke-Osanyintolu stated that the search and rescue crew was still on the river looking for the body.

Adedokun, who is in her late 30s, reportedly earned a letter of praise from the Director General of the DSS a few months ago for being the finest unarmed combat operative in her set.

A few weeks ago, the victim's fiancé reportedly got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. On the bridge, she had gotten out of an Uber taxi before jumping into the lagoon on Thursday afternoon.
