Unknown gunmen suspected to be cultists shot a man to death at Saint Michael's Road in Aba this afternoon.
The strange men arrived with a tricycle (KEKE-NAPEP), cornered their victim, and shot him several times at close range. The victim died immediately in his pool of blood as people in the vicinity scrambled for safety.
The reasons for the attack are not known, as the assailants left the crime scene as soon as their mission was accomplished.
The police came later with an ambulance that was used to take the deceased away.
