There’s absolutely nothing agreed with any club for next season - Leo Messi’s father

Lionel Messi's father and advisor Jorge has denied reports that his son has decided to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer and sign a lucrative contract with a Saudi Arabian club.

Messi's father, Jorge, issued a statement after reports earlier in the day said that the striker will sign a £522 million contract with Saudi club Al-Hilal.

In a statement to clarify rumours on done deal with Al Hilal, he said "There’s absolutely NOTHING agreed with any club for next season. We will decide at the end of the season.

"It will never be decided before the end of the current season with Paris Saint-Germain. Leo’s name is always used around but we can guarantee that there’s NOTHING signed, agreed or even verbally agreed and it won’t happen before the end of the season.

"It’s full of fake news around with no proof of what these ‘media’ say in public" he said.
