Couple found dead at shooting school named by their families

The family members of an elderly couple who were found dead at a shooting school on Friday have identified them as Robert Jobson, 84, and Rose Jobson, 69.

The shooting school, located near the village of Thornton Curtis, north Lincolnshire, offered clay shooting tuition and corporate entertainment, and the couple had reportedly run it for around 30 years.

Humberside Police have launched a murder investigation, but have stated that they are not seeking any other individuals in relation to the incident.

At around 3:40 pm on Friday, officers were called to the White Lodge Shooting School after receiving reports of a concern for safety.

Paramedics were also in attendance, but unfortunately, both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. Chief Inspector Al Curtis has stated that the families of Robert and Rose Jobson are receiving support from trained officers as they come to terms with their loss.

As the investigation continues, officers are conducting house-to-house visits in the local community to provide reassurance and engage with residents.

Chief Insp Curtis has confirmed that the police are not seeking any other individuals in connection with the deaths of the couple.

The incident has shocked the local community, and our thoughts go out to the family and friends of Robert and Rose Jobson during this difficult time.
