Gov. Umo Eno announces free tickets for the Nigeria vs. São Tomé match


His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, has announced the availability of free tickets for the upcoming AFCON 2023 qualification match between Nigeria and São Tomé and Príncipe. 

This generous move includes the purchase of an additional 25,000 tickets, in addition to the initial 5,000 free tickets.

In a statement Signed on Friday by MONDAY EBONG UKO Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, "All 30,000 match tickets will be distributed for FREE, ensuring that spectators can access Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo without any cost. There is no need to purchase tickets for this match.

"For those unable to secure a ticket before the match day, there is an option to obtain a free ticket at the stadium gate if they arrive before 4:00pm on match day.

"This initiative by His Excellency, the Governor, aims to encourage the state's citizens and residents to come together in support of the Super Eagles and contribute to their victory. The gesture is greatly appreciated by all," the statement reads.
