UberFacts has firmly stated that Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu surrendered $460,000 to the US government after a Chicago court found the income came from heroin trafficking.
This came after the Presidential Election Petitions Court ruled on September 6, 2023, that the Labour Party (LP) and its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, failed to prove that President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was convicted of money laundering in the United States.
The court stated that no record of criminal arrest or conviction was established against Tinubu by the petitioners, Obi and the LP, Strenuousblog reports.
