Former security personnel and internet sensations, Happie Boiz, have reportedly been arrested in Cyprus. They were recently arraigned in court and charged with an undisclosed offense. Following their court appearance, they were remanded in prison.
The Happie Boys rose to fame after they were dismissed from their security guard positions in Nigeria for dancing while on duty at a fast-food restaurant. Subsequently, they were offered scholarships to pursue their education in Cyprus, thanks to the support of a prominent religious leader, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the founder of Omega Power Ministries (OPM).
However, their situation took a turn for the worse when a video emerged online in which the two young men accused the pastor of abandoning them in Cyprus. The pastor clarified that he had advised them to return to Nigeria due to economic challenges resulting from fluctuations in exchange rates.
