In a remarkable culinary feat, Irish Chef Alan Fisher secured his place in the Guinness World Records for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, cooking for an astounding 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan.
Alan's accomplishment not only broke the previous record held by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci but also established a new world record with a significant margin.
In addition to this remarkable feat, Alan also claimed the title for the longest baking marathon by an individual, spending 47 hours and 21 minutes in the kitchen.
This achievement surpassed the previous record held by Wendy Sandner from the USA, who had a time of 31 hours and 16 minutes.
In her words, She wrote, "Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder!"
