Mohbad’s autopsy report not with us yet, says Lagos Police

The Lagos State Police Command has clarified that they are yet to receive the autopsy report of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, who passed away under controversial circumstances on September 12.

Despite public demand for clarity on the cause of his death, the police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed on November 20 that they haven't officially received the report.

Mohbad's body was exhumed two months after his burial on September 21 for the autopsy, which was declared completed by the state police command on October 6. However, the awaited details of the autopsy report have not been officially transmitted to the police, contrary to circulating rumors.

In a statement to Punch, SP Benjamin Hundeyin emphasized the need for factual information, stating that while rumors about the report's readiness circulate, the command awaits the official submission of the autopsy report before confirming its details.
